A LitRPG web serial about a girl and her cabin, and murder most foul.

You can read MurderQuest right here, starting with the first volume, Murder on the Minecart Express, for free. You can also read MurderQuest on Royal Road if you prefer.

You can report any issues with the story on my Github. Seriously. No issue is too small. Tiny typo? I want to know! You can also find the latest published text there in markdown format.

MurderQuest is made using MkDocs, themed using the superfine Material for MkDocs by squidfunk, and happily hosted on ICDsoft.

Privacy, Cookies & Your Data

MurderQuest.com doesn’t use any extra third party tracking, analytics, or advertising services. Because that’s gross. This site only uses local settings to save your preferences between visits, like whether you prefer light or dark mode. You can delete these cookies in your browser any time.

MurderQuest.com doesn’t store any information about your visits beyond what’s collected in the operational logs on the web server for technical purposes. This info is used for site operation or troubleshooting, not tracking, but may include data like IP addresses or server or router names associated with your connection. All web servers need this info for normal operation, but if you’re worried about your connection showing up in server logs, you should use Tor browser or a VPN. (Personally, I use Njalla.)

Right now the site uses some externally hosted resources (like fonts). Those sites will also have some information about your connection because your computer requests resources from them. Eventually I’m gonna host those resources locally too, but I need to figure out some technical stuff before it happens.
